It's not as easy as you might think. A little self-research on the internet will solve this for you.

Forum posts upon forum posts exist about how people can extract ergot from Foster's beer, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. Why would one specific beer have ergot in it, of all things? It's poisonous.

I did my research and concluded that it's simply not going to happen. You may as well just visit weekend long hippie festival if you want the real thing. But then again, be careful about what you're getting yourself into, because this stuff isn't safe. It can cause permanent psychological and physical damage to your body, possibly also resulting in flashbacks for years if not decades to come. Even then, the stuff you may be purchasing for $10 may not even be real. Most of the "dealers" at those festivals strive off of the fact that you are never going to see that person again, so why not rip you off?
You buy it, you take it, nothing happens, and by that time, you're a mile away and they've disappeared. So just be forewarned about that as well.
