CANT SEE HIDDEN FILES? DONT WORRY......

It is a very common problem encountered, causes include a virus, spyware or malware infection or registry corruption (due to an 'Overenthusiastic' Registry Cleaner or system optimising software etc). To solve this simply follow the instructions given below-
1. Run Registry Editor (Either by Start 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHO WALL
3. Click on SHO WALL key,now in the right side pain find a key called 'CheckedValue' now double click it
4. Change the value of it to 1 (irrespective of its value, be it 0 or 1) the changing is important click ok and exit the registry editor
and bingo! now you should be able to see those 'naughty' hidden files
Another alternative method worth trying is
1.Open registry editor
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Advanced
3. Click on Advanced key, in right side pain double click 'Hidden' and change its value to 1(just enter 1), exit registry editor, refresh and you are done
A word of caution though, I assume that you have a good, updated antivirus (I recommend Free Avast Antivirus) installed and running, if not so then although you can try above tricks but chances are that the active virus or malware will again reverse this setting, If that is the case or your registry editor is disabled than read my other articles over security topics...............if u guys liked the article then please click the ads on this page to support me...........thanx and enjoy
