How to take care of dogs and other pets on a drive..

Here's how to take care of dogs and other pets on a drive...

)Cats should be secured in a cat carry cage and also kept out of direct sunlight.

)Fresh air is important, so keep the window down.

)Dogs love to stick their head out but the rush of air is potentially harmful for them.

)Try to arrive at your destination during daylight, so he/she can explore the area and feel safe.

)It is useful to introduce and familiarise your pet to the carrier. The pet should be able to lie down and stand up in it.

)Make regular stops.

)Animals also get car sick. Acclimatise them by going for mini-trips.

)Don't leave the pet in the car. The inside of a car can heat up in minutes and may even be fatal!

)Make sure that you use a harness, especially for your pooch. And strap it with a seat belt.
