How to Thaw a Giant Squid? Put it in the Microwave

Scientists may need to use an industrial-scale microwave oven to defrost a colossal squid caught in the Antarctic last month. The half-ton squid has been kept frozen since it was caught in February, and scientists are trying to figure out how to thaw out the animal in a way that none of it rots before other parts have defrosted.
