How to use google street view maps

How to use google street view maps. Google has introduced a great way to navigate the streets of anywhere now, gone are the days of 2D maps, now you can see where you live street view style. Google street view maps will revolutionise the way we use the internet to find locations, if you thought google earth way great then google street view is light years better. Here are 5 steps to how to use google street view maps.

STEP 1 - GO TO GOOGLE STREET VIEW

The first step is rather obvious however for completeness as my maths teacher use to say here is the web site, http://maps.google.co.uk/help/maps/streetview/index.html, there is a online tutorial video which is not too long make sure you take the time to view the video so that you will know your way around the website. Why not book mark the link so that you can peruse the streets of london, paris or Manhatten whenever you feel like.

STEP 2 - CHOOSE A LOCATION

Once you load google street view you need to choose a location, most streets and areas have been mapped althtough a few areas are still remain unmapped due to legal reason, schools for instance have been unmapped to ensure that unsavoury charactors such as peadophiles cannot have another weapon in their arsenal to persue their sick dreams. Try and find where you live and then where your friends live.

STEP 3 - USE THE MAN ICON

There is a man on the left of the map that can be dragged and dropped on the area of the street you want to view, most of the street features such as peoples faces and number plates and door number have been greyed out using sophisticated software that google have developed, there is a popular misconception going round that these items are blurred by the people who live in Alabama to supplement their income - please note that this is not the case.

STEP 4 - SEE WHERE TheOracleOnline LIVES

Maybe you have been following my progress on bukisa and have developed a rapport with my writing and want to know more about me, or maybe you are an old Ex of mine planning your revenge on why we seperated, whatever the case may be here is the coveted link to where theOracleOnline live!!!!!!!!

STEP 5 - GREAT WAY TO ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS

If you want to advertise your business in style then rather than just giving the client a map on your website why not upload a link of your business on your website, this will look great and your client will likely to be very impressed with the care and attention you have placed in ensuring that they are aware of where your offices are, the client will also have the peice of mind to purchase from you if they can see where your offices are so if they are not satisfied they can return the product.
