Hulu.com Opens Doors To US Public - Provides High Quality Free Video Movie Streaming Content

Hulu.com, an online TV/movie provider has opened its doors to the US public.Hulu.com is a joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp. Hulu's streaming video service is free to anyone in the U.S. with a broadband internet connection and a computer.

FOX, NBC Universal, MGM, Sony and Warner Bros. are among the top content providers. Hulu offers full-length episodes of not only current hit shows like The Simpsons and The Office but also classics like The Incredible Hulk, Miami Vice and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Shows such as Arrested Development, Firefly, and Friday Night Lights has have every episode aired.

The online video service provider has an expanded library of full-length movies too besides the huge collection of TV Shows.

It remains to be seen whether Hulu.com could be a direct threat to YouTube.com. One its strength is superior quality television shows. Besides users can submit their own content to hulu. After going live to US public I am sure this will be extended to other regions of the world. One thing is sure - this free movie streaming website is here to stay and will make a place for itself.

My internet provider is Hughes Net and though my speed is very good, I can't see any of the movies on Hulu.com.
