I Have Chosen the "Road" Less Traveled, and That Has Made All the Difference
posted August 7, 2007 - 5:09pmThere is some wisdom to the commuting choices this man makes to and from work. I often fight the temptation to argue with the person in the car that just cut me off. She can't even hear me, so what difference does it make? All it does is feed a lifestyle of hating strangers. People I don't know. Who knows what led her to cut me off? She probably didn't even see me. Was she really doing it on purpose? If she was doing it on purpose, what good does it do for me to try to get even with her? It just gets my blood boiling and probably raises my blood pressure. It just makes things worse for me. So why not just give up the road that most people travel everyday? Why not just find new, and alternative ways to get from point a to point b? That's just what this man did, and it seems to have made all the difference. Gone are the white knuckles caused from people trying to squeeze in between you and the car in front of you. Gone are the white knuckle days when you're wondering if the big semi beside you can see you in his rearview mirror, and you wondering where you can go if he doesn't...
