Gay. What does that mean? Homosexual. It first hit home that I was a gay a few months ago and I decided to be myself.

Following a nerve-wrenching, nail-nibbling hell, I came out to my mum. She didn't believe me. I'm wasn't the flamboyant in your face gay (we use the term camp in Britain) so she hadn't really picked up the clues.

My dad was next in line. He was a just as unsure as my mother. "Lots of people question their sexuality when they're a teenager." he said.

Thing is, sexuality is intuitive. I'm sure you'll agree that you know what turns you on or what floats your boat. It's simple!

It was hard for them to digest though. However I gave it some time and dated guys through the internet. Not seedy hookup sites, but profile sites where you get a good idea of personalities.

The first relationship ended after 3 weeks because I was twotiming with a guy from school. I broke it off and tried with this schoolmate. Didn't work though. That ended after 3 weeks too.

Then I found Geordan. He was underloved. He needed help and I offered the helping hand. Our friendship has blossomed now. We are a fantastic couple. Complete honesty, jokeyness and listening skills make our relationship flourish. This is love.

Things moved under the covers quickly, but we were ready. We are happiness when we're together. I love him and I love him to his guts.
