I Miss

I Miss
I miss having no worries.
I miss acting silly and not having a reason to do so.
I miss going through a week of school and looking forward to having Saturday and Sunday off
I miss watching sitcoms that were actually good with my family.
I miss having my mom take care of me when I wasn't feeling well.
I miss spending time with my friends and talking about things that were probably pointless, but important to us.
I miss the last day of school before Christmas and Summer vacation.
I miss spending my summers doing absolutely nothing, and not having to explain why.
I miss waking up with my sister and watching Satruday morning cartoons.
I miss staying home on Thanksgiving helping my mom prepare the turkey the night before, and having a day of laziness.
I miss going to visit my grandparents.
I miss my grandparents coming over to visit us and bringing doughnuts.
I miss my cousins coming in for the Holidays, and spending Christmas Eve over our Aunts house.
I miss sharing a room with my sister, and staying up late talking.
I miss having that warm and fuzzy feeling all the time.
I miss not being the one who has to be the nuturerer.
I miss being truely happy.
I miss being innocent.
I miss playing and having fun.
I miss being a kid.

Thank you!

Kristen,

Thank you so much for your comment.  I am a very nostalgic person, and I was really speaking from the heart.

You are so right about wanting to grow up when you are a kid, and then once you do you wish you hadn't.

Once again thank you for your kind comment.

Welcome!

Welcome to Xomba!

Great article. Isn't funny how when we're a kid all we want to do is grow up and then once you do...you wish you hadn't!

Keep up the good work!
