Boilerplate

I read the short little blurb, which didn't have a link to the original, but it is possible that the ad contained standard language to ensure they don't get sued for discrimination in hiring. No doubt American society isn't the only one that has become highly litigious. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Should only blind people learn Braille?

Should only deaf or mute people learn Sign Language? Should only people from Mexico or Spain learn Spanish? I don't believe anybody should narrow their understanding of communication to the point that only "certain" people should learn "certain" things. For the ATM, there is a perfectly logical explanation. The banks order their ATMs from a company that sells and maintains them. Instead of trying to special order one or two for the driving lanes and have "regular" ATMs for pedestrian traffic, which would logically have Braille lettering, it is easier to order the same Braille-available units and cut down on the cost it would take to make special non-Braille units. Most people only notice the Braille keypads at the drive-through machines, but all of them have the same keypads. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Braille Instuctions On Drive-Through ATM's

I have also noticed braille instructions on drive-through ATM's. If you can't see well enough to read the on-screen instructions, then you probably should not be driving (unless you and everyone else on the road that day is wearing seat belts).
