Iditarod Travelers Must Go Further North

Travelers seeking to view the famed Iditarod sled dog races must travel further north to Willow, Alaska. The usual home of the race, Wasilla, was not able to serve as host this year. Urban sprawl has led to warmer temps and slushy conditions rather than crisp snow needed for sled races.
