I'm Gonna Have an Aviance Night: Those Fabulous 70s Perfume Commercials
posted August 20, 2008 - 8:08pmWhen I finish my work at the end of the day, I want to be be able to transform instantly from worker bee to a powerful, glamorous, sexy woman like I saw on television when I was young(er).
Here are some of those infamous perfume commercials that were so popular back in the 70s that they had most women buying Charlie, Enjolie or Aviance by the gallons.
"I've been sweet and I've been good, I've had a whole full day of motherhood..."
It's not that easy trying to remove a rubber glove finger by finger while trying to look hot!
And here's that precocious Enjolie ad. She can bring home the bacon AND fry it up in the pan (make cooking motions with your hands here)
I guess I don't measure up. I don't eat bacon nor do I cook. No Enjolie for me.
But wait, who's that center of attention? Why...it's Charlie! If I could only have that outfit and/or that hairdo, I would definitely work it!
It's almost time for dinner here. I think I'll flounce to the dining room table and shake my hair like that...maybe I'll entice my chef/husband to give me a second helping.
