Erm. I have a tag line. It shows in my comments. The Xomba form when you do your profile, asks your favorite saying, and when you post a comment, WHAMMO! There it is.

Somebody doesn't like it. Please tell me if you find the following tag line offensive and why, and whether some poo poo head has the right to tell me not to use it.

~Write your plans in pencil, and give God the eraser~

Thanks!

I personally Like your quote

Your quote to me says, no matter what people think, "God is in Control" Some people find God offensive. But he is still in control and he allows freedom of choice for now! So writing your plans in pencil is your acknowleding God to be in control of your life and to erase what he feels is not in your best interest.

Hello everyone, stop and set awhile.

your line is fine

It's a great line. Don't change it. I read where the person took offense or got upset or whatever they said about your tag line. This is America, we can believe in God. Why dont' we all use that tag line for a week or so. Thanks for reading my stuff, and please take a moment to rate my material and browse the ads.

If it was this instead...

It would only be offensive if you wrote: "Write your plans in ink, THEN give God the eraser".

...

I don't find it offensive at all.

His profile says "male,"

so I'm assuming he's a guy, unless Antonia has some inside information the rest of us aren't privy to...

madam? I assumed ken was a man...

she, he, it, was pretty strong about telling me to write my drivel in own blog... my point here was just finding out how my own personal mantra could be sooooooo offensive to others, not to mention my drawing out of words to emphasize! ~write your plans in pencil and give God the eraser~

Give God the Eraser--Revisited

Well, I just reread Madam Light's objection to your "give God" tag. She doesn't say you "cannot" have that as a tag; she merely objects (strongly) to the tag. There's a difference. One is an opinion; the other is a demand. Hers is just an opinion, and she's entitled to it, just as you are entitled to the tag.

Yes, pretty much. Ugly much,

Yes, pretty much. Ugly much, too.

That's why I wrote

"Pretty much anything goes." ;-)
