This is freaky. My son just turned 2 in June 2006. And ever since he has started really talking he has been saying some strange names and pointing in the middle of the air and talking to it like someone is there. We live on the third floor of an apartment complex in Burlington. He says a females name, Abby. and he also says a man's name but i cant understand that name yet. When were driving down the road we will ask him where is Abby and he will point right beside him in the car and say there. Me and my husband are always just asking and talking to him about Abby, asking where is she at and what is she doing, and he always responds to us. I think it is interesting to me but all little kids go through stages and I just think it is a imaginary friend or something, atleast I hope anyways.
