In a Divorce, One Party Must Die-to-All-Parties-of-the-Second-Part
posted August 5, 2007 - 11:30pmIn other words, Nick Lachey is dead to Jessica Simpson and me.
That 'Dying-to-All-Parties-of-the-Second-Part' is to keep society righteous-for-the-future. Example: my parents are divorced. Any success I have will now be seen as "in spite of that failed relationship" rather than "from the firmament of that relationship."
I recall from the Gospels that God WOULD NOT LET Jesus's parents get divorced (when Joseph considered divorcing Mary as an option to disgracing her as an unwed mother-slut). It was Joseph--not Mary--who was descended from Abraham. Yet Mary and Joseph's love was strong enough for Jesus to be able to call on the Family Love of Abraham ... who was more like a 'Cousin' to Him
Another reason I like the new trinity: The Uncle, The Cousins, and The Family Love; The Uncle is just as 'responsible' for you if He's a lonely heart, as He is if He's a successful polygamist! It's your job to access The Family Love and to use it on the right Cousins.
