In November California Will Define the Definition of Marriage.

In November California Will Define the Definition of Marriage.

As an institution, marriage is not threatened. It is the definition of the institution of marriage that is being threatened in California.

For this reason the California amendment was brought forth by the people. To define what the definition of marriage is. Gee... Marriage between a man and a woman. Hmmmmm what a concept. WOW.

The initiative will define the word marriage. The question will ask. Shall the word marriage be defined as marriage between man and woman only as marriage? Simple as that. It is very black and white and is not being brought forth by the government or being defined by the government. The liberals have been hiding behind the government to force down the throats of California that gay marriage is marriage. Remember. This is what caused this initiative to be brought forward to amend California's constitution. The superior court ruling was not decided by the people. It was a law suit. And it was not a decision made by the people. Remember? Now this issue will be decided once and for all by the people. Let the chips fall where they may.

I believe it is great to see the PEOPLE step up and show our elected leaders just how powerful the people are. ONE VOICE at a time we are stronger than a locomotive. They have seemed to forget they represent us. U.S. stands for us the people in this Republic of the United States of America. WE THE PEOPLE.

It is an amendment to the California Constitution. Supposedly this will get rid of this issue being settled by the courts and not the people.

Act of futility?

The problem is, the California constitution has already had the definition of marriage written into it. Since the creation of their constitution, marriage has been defined between a man and woman by California law. It has even been voted on before. Why would a new vote - by the people who are supposed to have power over the government - make a difference to the California judicial system? They have obviously ignored the already existing definition as defined by the people. When the state adopted the constitution, it did so with a definition of marriage. It has been ruled on and voted on since then without that definition changing. Now, all of a sudden, it does not mean what it means? Did the people have a say in this? No. Will it matter if they reconfirm their previous definition? Probably not...at least not according to judicial activists. What's the point of giving the People a voice then? It will simply be ignored. *If you're interested in reading my articles, Click Here.
