Speaking of 'standing ovations,' (pardon me as I do some 'Jerry Seinfeld') what is the deal with standing ovations? I mean, I understand standing applause while the C.O.C. enters, and maybe again when he finally finishes; but why every time he finishes an 'announcement?' Who are these people? ... Thank you.
