India Drops Charges Against Brad Hogg -- Goodwill or Capitulation??

India has decided to forgive Australian spinner Brad Hogg after India had charged him with abusing Dhoni and Kumble during the test match between the two teams. This decision by the Indian team is a goodwill gesture towards the Aussies, and according to Kumble is a sign that India wants to move on.

After a 45 minute meeting between Ricky Ponting and Kumble convened by Referee Ranjan Madugale the two captains expressed their satisfaction over the outcome. India sure is expecting Australia will respond with a similar gesture towards Harbhajan Singh against whom they have levelled charges of racism. Harbhajan hearing is to take place soon.

Looks like magnanimity from Kumble, but what if Aussies do not drop charges against Bhajji. Then it would all seem like capitualtion on India's part. Hope all's well.
