Indian Cricket Premier League (Cricket)
posted November 27, 2007 - 1:22amThe Indian Premier League, is a product of BCCI and is the only cricket league in India which is sanctioned by the ICC. It all started with the Subhash Chandra's ICL (Indian Cricket League) launch which is said to be the parallel league to BCCI in India.
So, BCCI came up with IPL(Indian Premier League) which is to tackle the ICL(Indian Cricket League), which is not recognized by either by BCCI or by ICC.As most of you are aware that BCCI is not allowing players under his associations to play for the ICL still there are a lot of players for current Ranji sides who are in fold of ICL (Indian Cricket League).
