Tender banana - 1
Elephant yam - 100g
Colacasia - 100g
Drumstick - 1
Cucumber - 50g
Snake guard - 50g
Green Chilly - 4
Curry leaves
2. Salt -As required
3. Turmeric powder - ½ Tea spoon
4. Coriander powder -1 Tea spoon
5. Scraped
coconut - 1 ½ cup
Garlic - 1
Onion - 2
Cumin seed - 1 pinch
6. Coconut oil/Oil of choice- 1 Table spoon
Cut the cleaned vegetables in medium thickness and in 2" length. Add 250ml water, ingredients mentioned at serial nos.2nd, 3rd and 4th and curry leaves and cook well in a Pan . Grind scraped coconut and add the paste to the cut vegetables and mix well for sometime . Pour coconut oil just before switching off the stove.Coconut oils is suggested for taste. However if you do not like coconut oil add any edible oil of your taste.Serve hot . This is a special dish for all occasions .Can be used as Sabji for Roti, chappathi and also along with Rice. This is a common vegetable recipe from Kerala.
