Indoor garden

Very little is needed to create your own indoor food garden, for instance you can grow many potatoes by just placing one old potato or even cut the potato into sections in a black bag full of compost or in these ready made grow bags you see now; so long as it has regular water and drainage potatoes will grow anywhere and anytime of the year.

Most herbs grow indoors especially basil, parsley and chives, so long as you leave the soil loose so there is enough drainage, and water regularly most herbs grow well indoors, with very little else needed.

Why not even try growing some watermelons, all you need is a dried out seed, a pot and soil, and put them by a window and wait to see what happens.

Small tomato plants and even strawberries and various berries can be grown indoors; on the windowsill or just inside your patio by the glass doors this works just the same way as inside a greenhouse; these are best grown in quite large pots, keep them pruned, so you may get fat juicy fruits, but remember, keep them in pots so they do not over take your garden!
