Inexpensive Parrot Toys

If you own a parrot, you already know how expensive toys for your bird can be. Then your parrot looks at the new toy in sheer terror at the idea of something new in its terrotory. It can require hours, days, weeks, or even months before your pet bird will even consider moving near the costly toy, much less touching it or playing with it. What kind of return on your investment is that? After all, the idea is to buy a toy for your parrot to enjoy and use for entertainment when you are not available for playtime.

There are correct ways to introduce toys to parrots which will allow them to realize that the toys is not a threat but is actually a safe object to touch, nibble on, chew up, destroy, and generally have parrot-fun with.

The whole idea is to let your parrot know that you find the toy to be safe and not a threat. This is a simple process of showing the parrot through role-playing that you enjoy playing with the toy and it will cause your feathered friend to become interested in the new plaything.

Cuddling a toy, placing it on or near your face or eyes, and generally allowing your bird to see your interaction with the toy is really all that it required to get your parrot to accept a new item. This can be done as a simple step-by-step process, making any new toy become a favorite quickly. Just follow the four easy steps and your parrot will love the toys your invest your time making it or money buying for its enjoyment.
