To start off, I will tell you a wee bit about my journey to making money from Google Adsense.

I started making websites 5 years ago, and placed Google ads on my pages to make a few cents. I only made about $0.60c at the time however!

I didn't understand the concept, or what type of website I was actually supposed to be making to be able to profit from Adsense, so I stopped making websites and headed off to make my next favorite thing 'Graphics'

Now I am back 5 years later, after a lot of reading, trial and errors etc.

I made a website (free domain and hosting) and it has been generating quite a few hits lately, meaning more money. Yippeee.

I thought wow, I could actually make some money out of creating useful websites?

I bought a domain name and hosting account a few days ago, don't worry I didn't spend a hell of a lot, but I was ready to start blogging or whatever I could think of in order to make few dollars on the side with Google Adsense.

I made sure the pages were as SEO as possible.

Of course I had to submit my URL to the search engines, the search engine spiders can generally take quite awhile before they find your website! Here I am a few days later still trying to find my pages in the search engines.

And worse I just realised my website hasn't been showing to the world. Grrr, I have to go and fix the problem. All of this is using up my precious time!

I don't have time to waste, and neither do you so I recently joined Xomba (yesterday to be exact), mainly for exposure. Because without hits you are basically not going to make any money.

When I searched for my Xomblurbs, they appeared on the first page of Google results! Yes! now this is what I am talking about! They're not the first listed, but they are on the first page. Now I am pretty darn happy, my articles are available for anyone to see instantly, in just one day.

I believe Xomba is an excellent way to gain exposure, except they do take 50% of your earnings. But the way I see it, it's better than no earnings right?
