Intelligent Design Works if You're Stupid, but ...

I want to open up the "whole can of worms" of the evolution/ID-debate.

See, I have a slightly different theory ... but it's just a "conjecture," really.

I want to forge it into a theory with the heat of debates both here and there!

HELP ME!!!

How Evolution Works; You've Got to FIND the Good Mutation

That's what my 'theory' basically says. I had named it 'Designed Intelligence' to give the basic idea of reversal there (that we don't complete the mutation until we recognize it and start using it), but LaraTacita (TheSinisterPorpoise on Blogger.com) inspired me to explain that the 'design'-function--though it implies a "designer"--is only included because mutants use the mutation as if it were "designed" for that use. ... and when FSM created the universe, PLOP into the paper-cup it went.... I didn't know his writings were still online

I figured his stuff was purged when he was booted out. If you've found it, I guess it wasn't. I wonder if there's any intelligent design, or intelligence, behind much of what shows up on the Internet. A lot of it seem like so much poop, plopped out into a plastic cup.

You Could've Linked-to Ken Light: Fuel for the Evolution Debate

You could have invited Ken Light back "in spirit" by linking to his work as the source the the citations you might have chosen therefrom: ... while we do not know every little detail pertaining to evolution, we know it has been occuring regularly since life on our planet began ... To which I would've responded ... We do not "know" that evolution has been occuring ... we have been hypnotized into giving that possibility "full faith" (if you tell yourself anything enough [accompanying it with enough positive-emotion], you'll think you 'know' it to be true), and I don't deny its high-high-high possibility; but--to me--it remains a "theory". You could also have linked-to and quoted the "Clay Pot"-argument: We look at clay pots and watches and are willing to say that obviously people made these, even if we don't see those people. Could not the same logic be used when we consider the human body and the universe? To which I would reply ... 'Pots and watches' are tools! I don't know about you, but I don't hold up a pot or a watch and think, "How did this come about?" unless I want more 'pots and watches.' I use them. I would only care 'where they came from' if I needed more of them to use. My mind uses things in reaching the goals of my purpose. If my purpose's goals end up requiring a copy of 'the human body and the universe,' I will be Enlightened as to methods of creating and/or aquiring a 'human body' or a 'universe.' So you see how my 'linking to debates' is "making use of the Internet" ... you might say that this use is what the Internet was "designed-for," but whatever Intelligence 'designed' it might not have intended that use! This use--linking to debates--is something-like what Darwin (et al.) called a "specie." I might compose a similar work to his "Origin of Species" and call it "Origin of Use-Methods" ... you might think of it as "Meme-etic Evolution"---'"The Origin of Species" Being Within Its Selves.' If you really want to start something...

maybe we can get Ken Light back as a special Xomba guest commentator on science/evolution!
