Into Eternity

Into Eternity

And in the end, it all seems so simple. We were running for nothing. There is no dawn. The sun was never going to rise and save us. We were endless, faithless, hopeless. We thought we were running from death. But we were running from our destiny. From dusk we ran, playing hide and seek with shadows. Holding our breath and listening for every step. Every scream. Every sigh. Our faces were blue before we dared to exhale. We were sure they couldn’t hear us if we didn’t make a sound. We were sure they’d never see us if we didn’t make a move. But we were wrong. They heard us and they saw us and they took us for their own. Made love to us in darkness and created children from our dying flesh. Now we are theirs for the keeping. And they will teach us how to live forever.

This sounds like it could be

This sounds like it could be a journal entry written by one of the children the Others kidnapped on "Lost."
