Introduction to RFID - Radio Frequency Identification

RFID is the Radio Frequency Identification of materials and products. It is an identification method much like the barcode system. However it uses the radio frequency transmission for identifying and tracking the product. All the big logistic companies are slowly reverting to the use of RFID to cut on manpower and costs.
