Is Akon as Stupid as his Name Sounds?
posted June 11, 2007 - 1:21pmAkon has never been as popular as he is now. It's now been made law that all TV shows and radio stations aren't allowed to go more than 15 minutes without playing Akon going "woo-hoo" all over that Gwen Stefani song, plus his latest album has sold over two million copies worldwide.
And how did Akon go about celebrating his new-found fame? Popping open a bottle of champagne? No. Buying himself a nice car? No. Going onstage in Trinidad and dry-humping a 15-year old while a bunch of people video the act to put on YouTube? Yes, that one.
These rappers, they think they can get away with anything.
The Game thinks he can wave guns around at people and Eminem seems to marry and divorce the same woman every other month. And now Akon also believes that, when he isn't simulating sex with the underage children on a stage in front of thousands of people, he can flex his muscles and chuck kids around like Frisbees.
At a recent concert presumably free, because i can't imagine anyone wanting to pay to see him, Akon got a little hot and bothered when someone threw an object at him. Instead of laughing it up and comforting himself with a ho in his dressing room, Akon decided to drag the perpetrator up on stage and then throw him back into the audience as hard as he could. What a lovely person.
Although being filmed dry-humping a children and throwing them around will be endlessly embarrassing - not to mention financially damaging - for Akon, at least one upside is that the videos have made him more famous than ever before. Maybe Akon will learn his lesson and stick to simulating sex on underage girls instead of wasting his time by singing useless high-pitched songs about how bloody lonely he is all the time.
