are you calling me a criminal?

Just kidding... You seem to have some kind of grudge against atheism but that was a poor attempt you've done better before.

That whole website is basically a god of the gaps argument. It goes like this: Gap in science - insert god.

since the dude responsible for the website accepts the scientific laws that he uses in his very rethorical attempt to debunk atheism I assume he also accepts all the common laws of physics. The concept of the christian God,miracles and fairytales goes against most laws of physics so he is effectively arguing against himself.

Nothing new here. I don't understand why the whole atheism thing is such a concern of yours though, since you don't believe atheism exists anyway. Atheists don't claim to have all the answers, on the other hand, you do claim to have the answers and all those answers are written down in one single old book

Martin, thank you

Yes, thank you, because even as what you say in your post is totally against what I stand for, you did it in a civil and respectful manner, and I appreciate that. Regardless of the view point we have, agreeing to disagree in a civil way is always constructive.

Regarding the topic of atheism, I do express my concern only because I feel for those who close their minds to anything that cannot be observed, measured, detected and or duplicated in a lab. Yet, they do believe in evolution to the point of making it a scientific fact even as it contradicts every single practice and fundamentals of scientific principles. I feel for them because of the consequences (eternal consequences) of their willful rejection of certain truths that, even as they cannot be proven in scientific terms, their defects on humans are undeniable.

Far be it from me to pretend to solve a conflict that has risen since the dawn of civilization between believers and unbelievers. I do not, repeat, not have all the answers, as a matter of fact, I have very few answers on my own. But I am learning a little more every day, and the more I learn, the more I believe.

Regarding the web site, it has some very good points on the subject and topic, that are worth considering (did you click on the "home" button and take a look at the other related articles?).

The fact that miracles go against the laws of physics don't bother me at all. After all, who can state that we already know and understand all the possible laws of physics? It is a fact that new manifestation of the physical matter in both the micro and macro universe are being discovered and observed, which defy the known laws of physics. We are still in the infancy of science and every answer to a phenomenon brings more questions. A logical and honest mind will not close itself at the prospect of discovery of new and fascinating laws of nature and their manifestation. After all, isn't that the whole purpose of the scientific method? explore and research bot the know things and the unknown things. Getting out of the claustrophobic scientific box and exploring the outside world has always been the norm in new discoveries and understandings. The history is full of persons who have explored unorthodox methods and interpretations that at their times were considered heresies, yet today they are basic scientific truths that cannot be denied.

An honest scientist will never say, "there is no God", he will say, "there is no scientific evidence of God's existence, but if He exists then any and all claims should be studied and researched to eliminate the doubt or confirm it". That is one of the reasons more and more scientist are getting out of the box and explore the Universe without the limitation of the insufficient, incomplete and deficient knowledge of unknown phenomena.
