Heterosexual women have always been noticing how actresses get their "looks" (make-up/fashion) and so whenever I watch a movie/TV, I'm interested to find out if a movie features one of my top 5 Hollywood actresses (listed below).

It has nothing to do if the actresses had won awards at the Annual Oscars Awards cremonies or not, alhough I am sure the awards and nominations are encouragement to my favourite top 5 actresses.

So here, in order of magnetism, charisma and downright sex appeal, I giv you my top five COUNT-DOWN for my favourite Hollywood actresses! :)

5. Scarlett Johansson
This startlingly beautiful actress first caught my attention with her beautiful lustrous hair. Ms Johansson started off her career in quirky movies and has since metamorphosized into a gorgeous woman with a killer personality.

Smarter than her young years would suggest, she's got the smarts, looks and unbelievable acting ability. Voted #1 on many lists of 'World's Most Beautiful Women', let's hope she can continually handle what success she's achieved so we can see more of her in more movies. [I say she'll be around for years to come. :) ]

4. Cameran Diaz -
Her biggest assets are her sparkling eyes and mega-watt smile, Cameran is not only an actress but is also a super American model.

Bursting onto the screen with co-star Jim Carrey, THE MASK, she caught the attention of the world. Cameron Diaz has starred in several notable movies like, VANILLA SKY, CHARLIE's ANGELS, and SHREK.

Despite past negative gossip about her as a 'violent home-wrecker', she is one actress no one can deny of for her superb acting skills. Approachable and humble, Ms Diaz has won herself many fans and may perhaps, continue to do so.

3. Natalie Portman
With her portrayal of Queen Padmé Amidala (STAR WARS 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE), Ms Portman stood out on the screen miles above any of the seasoned actors on there. With this unbelievable performance, she became part of Hollywood history and her future in movies was assured from that moment on.

Ms. Portman has incredibly beautiful skin and a svelte perfect figure of a body to boot! She's a vegetarian too (that probably is responsibly for her clear and oh so transluscent skin)!

2. Nicole Kidman
"Empty beautiful vase" is definitely not what describes Ms Kidman when she married Tom Cruise. Happily re-married after her divorce from Tom Cruise, this stunning Hawaiin-born actress has proven she is more than just "an Australia's prime export" when she made Sydney her home.

Ms Kidman first caught my attention in DEAD CALM with her superb acting and mersmirising blue eyes. I could almost feel her heartbeat next to mine!

Not unlike Angelina Jollie, Ms Kidman is an an activist and supporter of several charitable causes (she reportedly donated US$100k to the Australian Theatre For Young People, the very place where she was educated).

Notably famed for 2 other movies, RE-BIRTH and MOULIN ROUGE, Ms Kidman's latest movie (2007) is THE GOLDEN COMPASS.

Also famed for her tinkling laughter, self-deprecating humour and crusading work on behalf of abused children, perhaps the only thing that can only get her down is her allergy to bumble bees.

I hope, as her heart wishes, pregnancy would soon come as good news for Ms Kidman and her family. I don't think I can ever stop loving this actress!

1. Angelina Jollie
TOMBSTONE RAIDER was what jumped out at me whenever Angelina Jollie's name is mentioned. Kick-ass smart and drop-dead gorgeous with a body that would stop traffic, Angelina Jollie is many people's number one list. (Do not start salivating here! haha)

She's always fascinated me even before she became really famous (she acted from her teen years, the first movie HACKERS, together with her then husband Jonny Miller).

From the moment she arrived on screen (no matter which movie she acted in), you couldn't take your eyes off her. With her gravelly voice (that reminds me of our Singapore-born star Zoe Tay), she has super-sensual naturally-born plump lips.

Every other actress's presence dimmed whenever she was around! Lucky she!

It's not only her acting ability and looks that capture people's attention (and imagination!), it's also her 'I can't care-less' attitude and her intriguing life.

Ms Jollie is also rumoured to once own an acrylic capsule of her first husband's blood (Jonny Miller) constantly worn as a pendant when she was still married to Jonny. Ms Jollie and Jonny divorced as they weren't on the same notion of having kids.

Since she became one of the U.N.'s Goodwill Ambassadors, and mother and adopted mother to several Cambodian-born children as Mrs. Brad Pitt, I admire her more than just about any other actresses out there.

I luuuurve Angelina Jollie for being herself!

All of these five women have something in common, along with sex appeal and magnetism. Can you guess what it is? Yes, it's Intelligence. Nothing like a SEXY BRAIN!
