Is this the real politics???

Sometimes, if they cannot get things done politically, then try to blackmail by different means. This is usual in Islamic Republic of Pakistan as former dashing General, Chief of all staff and President who took over the country from elected assembly in a flight from Colombo to Karachi in 1999 with creation of a new position Chief Executive of Pakistan. As conspiracy to hold political powers and the people of this Islamic Democratic Republic but remain maximum in Army controlled Marshal Law. General with his think tank generals established a National Accountability Bureau that provide extra financial services to him and his allies both.

In Feb 2008 election both major political rivals won majority and made alliance to end the golden chapter of Supreme President Gen (R) Musharraf but now who will be the President?

Mr. Asif Ali Zardari wish to be president where as former Prime Minister Main Nawaz Sharif do not want him to be the next president and the alliance braked. After failure of talks and political deals now after years, The National Accountability Bureau filed on Tuesday an application in the court of special judge central seeking to reopen three corruption references against former PM Nawaz Sharif and members of his family.

So efficient and faithful servants or slaves that petition filed by prosecutor general Danishwar Malik in the court of Shaukat Ali Sajid in the absence of all the four judges of accountability courts sought review of an order passed by accountability court judge.
The court fixed September 4 for initial hearing.

Pakistan Muslim league leader’s lawyer Khwaja Haris said that the move appeared “to be aimed at using the accountability courts against Nawaz Sharif”. Another loyal and former federal minister Mr. Ahsan Iqbal said that pursuing the cases smacked of “political bankruptcy”. The real democracy is in Pakistan.
