Island Realms is a resource and time management game that has you building up tropical islands. It was made by the creators of Farm Frenzy, but in my opinion it's more like the game My Kingdom for the Princess.

Here's my review. The plot is cliched, but interesting enough. A bunch of sailors get trapped on a tropical island, and they need to survive. You must help them by building homes and mills, and by gathering resources that they need to thrive. You must order around these little people and make sure they work efficiently, and help them defend against attacks by buying catapults. It's technically being listed as a time managment game, but it's more like a resource management strategy game.

I found it somewhat entertaining, but be warned that the instructions are unclear, and it's nothing like Farm Frenzy. I'm still more of a My Kingdom for the Princess fan, truth be told.

The game launches on Big Fish Games on  November 7, 2009, and on iWin on November 6th. You can get a free trial on both websites.
