MUMBAI: If every thing goes as planned, Mumbai will is going to become a tourist destination.

The State Government is planning to pour crore of rupees in the restoration of five Forts in and around mumbai that will cost the exchequer Rs 8 crore, including the Worli, Bandra, Vashi, Sion and Mahim forts.

The Sewri Fort is the first up, in this fort the tourist will have the glimpes of pink flamingoes.

The nodal agency for the development is the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation. The suburb of mumbai will have a news queens necklace known as Mini Marine Drive in Mahim-Bandra.

The construction of International Cruise Terminal by The Mumbai Port trust will attract tourist, which will house marina of small yachts and boats. The paln also includes the trans-harbouor jetty for those who headed to the flamingo bay near sewri fort.

The work on metro rail has begun and a newly constructured pagoda at gorai, Borivali is inagurated for the vipassana students and Buddhists from all over the world, it is 96 meters high and can accommodate 8000 people.
