It's Re-Rehab for Britney

"Access Hollywood" released a statement today from Britney Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, confirming that Britney has again checked herself into a rehab facility.
Rudolph was quoted as saying, "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."
Of course, speculation still abounds as to what prompted Britney to shed her locks so dramatically on Friday. In an "Access Hollywood interview, the shop owner said that Britney parked in front of her shop and then sat in her car "crying" for 10 minutes before finally entering the shop.
Once inside, the owner described Britney's emotions as "flat". However, she did say that Britney got a "little teary-eyed" when she saw her bald head in the mirror, and expressed concern over how her mother would react to her newly shaved noggin.
(I would think she would be more concerned over how her mother would feel when she found out she was back in LA, after she just left her in Antigua the day before.)
A witness at the tattoo shop said that Britney explained her shaved head by saying, "she was tired of people hanging things in it" and "tired of people touching her". She added that Britney was definitely stressed out, and annoyed about the paparazzi being outside, and quoted Britney as saying, "I've just had it with all of it".
Gosh Brit, do you suppose the paparazzi might be following you because they know there's a good chance of get a pic' of youflashing one of your private parts? I'm sure they were mildly curious too, about you entering a hair salon with hair, and then coming out without hair.

Some suggest that Britney, having just returned from 5 days of "wild partying" in New York, was suffering from depression because she was having withdrawals after her big week in the Big Apple.
(You mean depression from withdrawals will make you shave your head to shave get tattoos?)
Well known psychiatrist, Dr. Gail Saltz, when asked to speculate on the cause, pointed at Postpartum Depression as a likely candidate. "In light of the fact that her children were born so close together, it is highly likely that there are some hormonal changes going on."
Another theory is that this is all a direct result of Britney being thrust into the lime-light at such an early age, which robbed her of the chance of having a normal life.
(I could almost believe these last two, but I'm fairly certain that one of the things her mother probably taught her is to put panties on when she leaves the house - especially in a skirt.)
Perhaps she feels that her life has never been her own? She's tired of doing what everyone tells her to do, and she wants to do what she wants to do. Put quite simply, she's rebelling.
Regardless of what's going on in Britney's head, it's plain that she needs to figure it out soon, because if she doesn't grow up quick, her children are going to catch up to her.
