Socialite Jemima Khan has struck up an unlikely relationship with hellraising cricketer Shane Warne, it was claimed today.

According to Australia's leading women's magazine, Woman's Day, she has told friends she's the new woman in Shane's life, after the collapse of his rocky marriage to Simone.

The magazine says the 33-year-old has described Shane, 38, as "absolutely charming" and has told friends they've been growing closer in the past few months.

One pal tells Woman's Day: "Jemima can't stop talking about what a wonderful man he is, she says he is constantly on the phone or sending her lovely messages."

Simone recently accused Shane of having an affair when he accidentally sent her a text meant for another woman. But Warne insisted he'd already split from his wife when the text was sent.
