Jerusalem: Mahmoud Abbas promises he will push for UN vote on Gaza war crimes report

In a reversal of his earlier decision to support postponement of the UN vote, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said in a speech on Sunday that he will now actively support an early vote on this issue. The UN must decide whether to forward a report of war crimes in Gaza to the Security Council, which could end in the establishment of war crimes tribunals.
