Jilted Freak Sent Threats to Black Men

For twenty years David Tauson has been sending letters to black men. Letters threatening them with castration, explosives, and all manner of violence. Targets of his tyrades, in which he posed as a white woman, have included Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, among many others. Asked why he did it, Tauson explained that his girlfriend had dumped him for a black man, in what can only be described as good judgement on her part.

Tauson pled guilty Thursday to six counts of mailing threatening communications and two counts of threatening interstate communications. The threats to Supreme Court Justice, Thomas could net Tauson ten years in the clink, while each of the other charges could carry up to five.
