Johnny Depp recently kept a promise to a 12 year old who asked if they could have the hat Depp was wearing during the shooting of the film Public Enemies.

Depp, who will play John Dillinger, made sure to follow through on his promise as well as a few gifts for the siblings of the child.

Depp has always struck me as a non-Hollywood type so I really enjoy reading stories about him and his generosity, especially when he's playing a criminal. Irony rocks.
