History of Space Hopping

The space hopper was originally launched in the 1970s. Space Hoppers were hugely popular then but, for some inexplicable reason the bounced out of favour in the 1980s and 1990s. Space Hopping was still a marginal sport at the beginning of the 21st century but during 2008 Space Hoppers experienced a true renaissance. The main reason for this rebirth was the development of adult sized space hoppers. Accordingly, nowadays, Space Hopping is no longer the preserve of children and young adults and middle aged and even “oldies” can rejoin the fun. Yippee! 2009 promises to be the Year of the Space Hopper!
