Basically, Joseph Smith is visited by Moroni (the resurrected son of Mormon) three times one night. Moroni tells him that he is to chance-discover 'the Plates of Brass' (ancient writings of prophecy hid up unto the Lord thither) and told him a few other things concerning the prophecies therein—i.e. who he could show the Plates to, what would happen because of his obedience, etc.

As in all encounters-with-God, it happened in 'a realistic, possibly-recurring dream' (or 'sounds dreamlike upon retelling').

As I am not sure of the "truth" of the prophecies yet (and/or do not ever want to sound sure of them), I try to use the worst ('voorst' lol) foreign accent I can manage.

Again, testimony of a 'visitation' that could be 'chalked up to' imaginings in the body's exhausted state (but for the 'testimonie' of the 11 witnesses).

I suppose the lesson here is the reward of doing what people tell you to do, if you know`e comes from a place greater than that whence you come. Take`r orders as your mission, and proceed in the orders' fulfillment always remembering whence comes the orderer's power!
