Just Because...

Just because she is indifferent to me

It doesn’t mean she will always be

Just because she is not mine

She hasn’t ceased to be mine

Just because she refused me

It doesn’t mean that she would be accepted by her preferred lot

The cycle of ‘Acceptance and Rejection’ goes on until both acts foolishly

And acquiesce to a stupid act of marriage

Just because people consider Marriage an act of ‘Destiny’

It cannot get less cruel

Just because she was hundreds of miles away from me

It doesn’t mean that she can’t be with me

Just because she didn’t love me

This is the reason enough for being alive

Just because something was never to be

Why blame her or the Destiny?

Just because you have entered this world

Doesn’t mean that every thing is your’s

Just because I am crying for reciprocation

It doesn’t become my infatuation

I see her from the eyes of my heart; I caress her with the passing wind

I do this, I do that; but the fact remains that she still eludes me
