Kamp's Kabaret: Review of September 20 (The 80's) Show
posted September 22, 2008 - 1:52pmIt was September 13. And it was fun ... the closest-to-Karaoke these kids should get until they're introduced to the harshness of the world in the traditional way.
'These kids'? Students of the Oklahoma City University Arts-&-Sciences Musical Theater, perfoming in an upcoming production of Footloose. They sang various 80's-hits (including "I've Got Friends in Low Places," for which Uncle MythMan was invited to the stage to sing a verse).
The only other description they gave in the program was a list of cast-members (each with their notes on the program) and a list of the people who helped sponsor the show—Kamp's Café is a 'classic Oklahoma City'-building (i.e. expensive to maintain, but well-worth the cost)!
