Kilpatrick and Beatty - Making Sense Out of The "Affair"

Past ghosts are visiting Mayor Kilpatrick and his Chief of Staff Christine Beatty as another investigation (involving more taxpayer money) is launched into whether they committed perjury 6 years back. Who is the winner here? Definitely not the Auto City, neither the Mayor nor Christine Beatty...only "free press" seems to have a stake.
