Kimkins diet founder, Heidi Kimberly Diaz, goes on trial today and will face a jury regarding the validity of her diet. Her claims of losing weight are also under scrutiny.

Diaz is accused of making millions off this diet scam, and then refused to give unhappy patrons of the Kinkins diet refunds when they were not losing the weight they should have.

Diaz is also being accused of still being obese, even after losing a reported "200 pounds" on the Kimkins diet plan.
