Once upon a time, in the land of Valrico, lived a brave and handsome prince named Hunter. Prince Hunter was Valrico's best and fiercest knight. Everyone in Valrico loved Prince Hunter and he, in turn, loved them. Anytime he was not doing his knight training, he liked to roam the town and talk with all the people. The townsfolk always gathered three deep to hear Prince Hunter tell his tales of adventure. He would tell them of fighting monstrous snakes and evil wizards. Prince Hunter would always seemingly be at the brink of utter defeat in his tales before digging deep within himself and defeating the evil beings. The townsfolk always hung on every word even though they knew Prince Hunter would prevail.
Every single girl in Valrico dreamed that one day Prince Hunter would ask them to marry him. His looks were almost legendary in the realm. He had a thick mane of brown hair that always seemed to be dishelved in just the right way. He had piercing blue eyes that made every girl melt when he looked at them. He was muscular but not overly so. And he had a laugh, which many said was his best feature, so full of joy that it brighten any occasion and any soul.
Prince Hunter had a sister named Alexa. Princess Alexa, like her brother, was loved far and wide in the land of Valrico. On many ocassions she accompanied her brother not only on his trips to the town but also in his adventures. She regaled in listening to Hunter weave his tales and then she would tell everyone what really happened and everyone would have a hearty laugh. She was as every bit the warrior that Hunter was but had the beauty to beguile even the most evil of opponents so, rarely did she have to resort to violence.
Princess Alexa had dirty blond hair that she wore long and free. Her sparkling green eyes kept boys entranced for as long as she wanted. Her smile, which lit up her entire face, let them know she liked them - the boys would almost kill each other to see her smile. And while her frame was distinctly feminine, there was enough strength evident to give evil doers pause. Princess Alexa had many suitors but none that met her fancy.
She was always kind to her suitors. She always dismissed them in such a way that they felt better about themselves than before they had come to know her.
One day Prince Hunter and Princess Alexa were dining in town, having a fine time with a few close friends, when a messenger came looking for them.
"My Prince and Princess, please forgive the intrusion, but I bring an urgent message from your cousins in Seffner."
"No need for forgiveness, Noah. You know you are always welcome here." said Hunter.
"What word do you bring brave Noah. I do hope our cousins are not in trouble." pleaded Alexa.
"I'm afraid they are in trouble princess. Prince Caden and Princess Sylar are asking for your help. It seems the Kingdom of Dover has declared war against the Kingdom of Seffner due in part because of Princess Sklar's refusal to marry their Prince Albert."
"Oh, my" exclaimed Princess Alexa.
"I knew that Prince Albert was up to no good!" bellowed Prince Hunter. "What do our cousins wish of us?"
"They wish you and any army you can muster to come and help in their defense."
The dining group held their breaths and set their gazes upon the prince and princess. Prince Hunter and Princess Alexa looked at each other and nodded in hidden agreement - they knew exactly what to do.
"Send them word, Noah, that we will be there in two days from now with the largest army they have seen!" said Hunter.
The diners screamed in approval. Noah smiled. He shook Hunter's hand and bowed to Princess Alexa, who returned in kind, before turning on his heel and bursting out the door.
