Kosi Rages On Engulfing Fresh Areas in Bihar

The Kosi River raged on relentlessly and engulfed fresh areas in Bihar affecting more than 30 lakh people today, as the situation worsened. There are about 16 districts now affected by the floods. Apparently, five army columns have been pressed into service for relief and rescue, while the state has requisitioned 25 more columns.
