Kristen Stewart, adored by millions of tween girls for her role in the Twilight movie, has cut her long her short to play Joan Jett in the new movie "The Runaways".

The photos are after the jump and I have to say that there really isn't anything to drastic going on here but I know many women who have gotten really attached to their long hair so maybe I'm just clueless about these kinds of things.
