Kirsty Coventry of Zimbabwe Sets World Record in 100m Backstroke

Swimmer Kirsty Coventry of Zimbabwe set a world record in the 100-meter backstroke at the Beijing Olympics on Monday... and it was only a semifinal heat. Her time broke the previous world record set just last month by Natalie Coughlin of the U.S., who finished second in the semifinal. < p>
