Last Stand For Outgunned McCain

With only seven days to go, it seems almost clear that Obama has won it already. He raised more than $603m while McCain scraped together just over $380m.

Obama's ads are everywhere and are accessable to the less-well off members of society - such as in between sports events on TV. I'm not maiking any kind of judgement call on people who watch sport on TV, just saying that if you can't afford to go to the event, you watch it on the box.

Yet maybe it's not so clear-cut as to who has the more obvious campaigning; - many people have still not registered and some that have registered are being denied due to computer errors in a new system. There's also the fact that McCain is a celebrated war hero and we all know how America loves them war heroes.

Truth and beliefs

I don't expect you adhere to the word of God. You choose not to believe the truth, that's your right. If you, or I, really knew what the "truth" was, we wouldn't need beliefs. For the recorded history of man of the last 2500+ years it has been and always will be accepted as the word of God. Well, not quite. Christians are a minority in the World, so how do you figure that one?

For the recorded history of man of the last 2500+ years it has been and always will be accepted as the word of God. I'm not going to argue this with jdud's protoge. One who calls God's word a lie will pay the price one day, it's that simple. Don't judge me from my beliefs. I don't want homosexual fornication to be force fed to my children in public school. I told you once what I think should be the only aspects of sexuality taught in schools; but like jdud, you only want to start controversy.

So, what you are saying is it's ok to ram your beliefs down childrens' throats in schools, but it's not ok to teach what others believe on the topic. Lovely! ↑ Grab this Headline Animator

Gay marriage is not a civil right! It is a sexual orientation that is totally un-natural and I don't want it being shoved down my kids throat at school. That, of course, is your belief. Just out of curiousity, would you be in favor of schools teaching that homosexuality is "un-natural"? If so, wouldn't that be shoving your beliefs down the throats of children from households that don't share your belief system?

which part would like some confirmation on jdud? These aren't my opinions, they are your candidates policies. My fears are not for me, they are for my children, your children, hard working American families, 21,000 murdered babies every week, kids being taught that gay marriage and homosexuality is acceptable is ok in schools without the knowledge of their parents. These are my fears and you were a red-blooded American they would be your fears too. Gay marriage is not a civil right! It is a sexual orientation that is totally un-natural and I don't want it being shoved down my kids throat at school.

I have no problem admitting if I am wrong. How about you?

If I am wrong, I have no problem admitting it. What you need to do is actually show me proof that I am wrong, however. What you have shown to this point is a penchant for offering opinions unsupported by anything resembling unbiased facts. But, hey, if you want to continue to vote your fears, then that's your choice.
