In the future, when you go to any website, you will be able to communicate with other people who are also there. Or better yet, with people who have been there in the past, or who will be in the future, without compromising your privacy in any way.

The technology to achieve that is already here, in the form of a plug-in called Oylem :) available for download at http://oylem.com.

After installing the plug-in, you will be able to open a sidebar in your browser that will show the discussion for the website you are visiting. You will be able to add your own comments to the public discussion of that website, or privately message other users.

This isn't just another IM. This is about not being alone when you are purchasing something from a dodgy website. About talking to people with similar interests, who are at the same places as you are.

In the future, people will no longer surf the internet in isolation. Wherever your mouse might take you, there will always be others to chat with about the site you're at.
