Led Zeppelin Reunion.

Led Zeppelin Reunion.

Few days ago, the long waited Led Zeppelin Reunion gig took place at last. It was their first show in many years. People who attended there said it was a great gig, and they expressed their hope of a world tour for the next year. Of course, I hope so. < p>

I think their reunion is more than welcome. They’re one of the most important band not only in rock and roll history, but also in the popular music historical development. Many musicians worldwide have grown up listening and playing many of their tunes, specially the well known “Stairway to Heaven”. I’m among them (I still remember when I was first learning to play guitar, that it used to be a huge contest for me and most of my friends).

On December 5, I attended to the The Police gig in Santiago. It was very great, and I enjoyed it a lot; however, I think I’d repeat most of the congratulations they have received during their reunion tour; so, I won’t write more comments about it.

Why did I mentioned the The Police concert? Well, it’s simple: many old and classic bands are coming back in these days, giving a lesson to many of the current mainstream artists (for example: the whole emo-pseudo-punk scene), and showing us that time hasn’t shattered their talent away. As a musician, I greet those returns. But I’d like even more new recorded tracks from them, to say, at last, they’re definitely back.
